How it works
Adding a trainer takes about 10 seconds, from your friends list or by scanning a QR code.
In Pokemon GO, tap your trainer avatar in the bottom left, then open the Friends tab and tap Add Friend.
Type a trainer's 12-digit friend code, or tap the QR icon and scan the QR code shown on any card in the directory below.
Tap Send Friend Request. Once the other trainer accepts, you can send gifts, trade Pokemon, and raid together.
